A very simple but cool sounding pair of instruments made using only the power of pure electromagnetical trickery. No rodents were injured during the making of this instrument. sfz, SoundFont, and Kontakt formats (works best in Kontakt 4).
Introducing your one *stop* for all organ needs: Organ+, a fully featured organ emulator! Organ+ comes with 7 different organ engines that faithfully recreate the sounds of celebrated transistor and tonewheel organs. The sweet FX stack –with dual chorus/vibrato, vintage-y reverb, overdrive and more– lets you create ample variation, and hone in on *that* sound. Organ+’s two manuals are individually adjustable with 9 drawbars each, giving you distinct tones that improve phrasing and effect. You can even set organ key clicks and “percussion”! Originally sampled by professional organist Lars Palo and released under a Creative Commons liscense, this a 40 stop organ has been converted to Kontakt 5 by bigcat Instruments. Thanks to scripting by Matt McKay, this organ is the most extensive instrument we have ever released. It features over 100 Reverbs, Unison X, Stereo Enhancement, a 4 band Solid EQ and other effects like Chorus, Phaser and Surround Panning. According to John’s Organ Works, a 40 stop organ has 1,099,511,627,780 combinations, toss in the ability to change almost everything about this organ’s sound, then multiply in over 100 reverbs and you have the ability to customize your sound to an astounding degree. There are two buttons / lights under the organ stops. The left one turns that stop on while the right one unloads that stop from memory, so if you are running low on memory you can easily unload samples you aren’t using.
The Pump Organ. A small organ where air is pumped using your feet. Common in small chapels and schools 40-50 years ago. A small, simple organ with tons of charm! Nothing you would play the Toccata on, but try some Tom Waits songs! Recorded in Stereo using a pair of AKG 414. Available in Gigastudio 3 24 bit, Gigastudio 2.5 16 bit (works in all samplers that reads Giga format) and a 24 bit combined HALion/Kontakt version. The instrument was sampled in thirds, (C, D#, F# and A) in each octave.
The aim of the project is to make the concert organ from Litomysl (Grygar, 2001) available for the Hauptwerk software sampler. This modern organ is large enough (4 manuals + pedal, 51 sounding stops) to fit the needs of any organ music style, early Spanish music, French or German romantic music, German baroque, XXth century music or anything else you can imagine. The organ was sampled very accurately on 1:1 basis using professional digital equipment of the 24bit/48kHz resolution. The stereo O.R.T.F. norm was used as the recording technique. Each tone of each stop has been captured several times to assure the best possible results. Long samples up to 9 seconds were taken.

Switchable Foldback, Tonewheel-Sync, realistic drawbar volume relation, the behaviour of the percussion switch, motor noise and keyclick are just a few of the aspects of the “original” sound. In the LinPlug Organ 3 you have control over all of them.
