HQ-2 Hybrid Equalizer is actually a 10 band multi band compressor, designed with the intuitive workflow of a graphic equalizer. The HQ-2 is built around 10 bands of RMS compression, which is useful for compressing the average level of a signal rather than the peak level. The result is a transparent compression that can bring quiet details up in the mix while achieving consistency in the tone of dynamic source material. This makes the HQ-2 ideally suited for instrument busses and the mixbus, where it can help glue your mix together. However, given the 10 bands of multi band compression and the graphic equalizer workflow, the HQ-2 is also perfect for a wide range of individual sources!

GotoEQ is a new evolution of a vintage passive tube-based program equalizer, expanding on that classic sound with dynamic EQ bands. GotoEQ performs the classic ‘low-end trick’ with dual Boost and Attenuate controls for its low shelf, but it also offers the ability to perform a ‘high-end trick’, with a similar formulation of high shelving. With continuous frequency selection, you can tune each band as you like. But most importantly of all, GotoEQ’s two mid bands offer dynamic attenuation, bringing a musical approach to the classic EQ unit. Simultaneously boost and cut the low shelf to create that low-mid scoop on bass tracks. De-ess vocals or de-harsh overheads by engaging dynamic attenuation and tuning the high-mid band. Add air to signals with the high shelf filter, and ‘scoop’ the high-mids using a ‘high-end trick’. Get control over the ‘nose’ of bass tracks with dynamic attenuation of the Low Mid and High Mid bands. Subtly EQ a whole mix or bus using light settings and mild compression.

Widening Parametr’EQ is a 7 bands parametric Mid-Side equalizer based on Parametr’EQ algorithms, enabling you to widen or narrow the frequencies of your choice. This special ‘widening’ version offers two independent equalizers for the mid and side channels with instant frequency response display. Stereo Parametr’EQ is a 7 bands parametric stereo equalizer based on Blue Cat’s Parametr’EQ technology, providing the best of the analog and digital worlds in stereo. This stereo plug-in enables you to manage separately the left and right equalizer settings and keep an eye on both frequency responses thanks to the frequency graph above the controls. Parametr’EQ is a 7 bands parametric equalizer combining the advantages of both the digital and analog worlds. Its special non-linear and oversampling features let you easily simulate the compression and distortion that may occur in an analog EQ or on the contrary obtain a very clean and transparent digital EQ. The plug-in includes a low shelf/low cut filter, a high shelf/high cut filter and 5 boost/cut band filters. An optional brickwall limiter has been added to the output to protect your ears and monitors. Its wide range of gain (+/-40 dB per band) and bandwidth (one hundredth to five octaves) makes it suitable for any equalization task, especially with the extra zooming capability that lets you define your own range for the user interface. The included skins let you choose the layout that best suits your needs, and you can completely customize the user interface thanks to Blue Cat’s Skinning language support. The graph displays the computed frequency response of the plug-in, so that you can exactly know how your signal is processed. This is not an approximated or “ideal” response curve based on the controls of the user interface, but the exact computed frequency response of the filter, which makes this plug-in a true WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) equalizer.
