Possibly the most exciting section of DIVA is a trilogy of mood driven phrases. All captured with natural legato and a varying degree of breathing, and mouth noises.

Atmos inhabits the space between the real and the fantastical. Bjulin’s work evokes the dimension, emotion and atmosphere of various scenes—like floating high above the clouds or standing at the edge of a mysterious forest. All 128 presets in this collection of arpeggios, leads, pads and ambient effects are permeated with a sense of space. Bjulin created the pure sounds to be sophisticated from the start, but applying Diva’s built-in effects thoughtfully, he manage to highlight each unique atmosphere and ambience. Atmos is especially well suited for ambient, chillout and downtempo music, but can fit easily into almost any of your music projects.

Diva models individual circuit components (you know? stuff like capacitors, resistors, transistors), not just overall behavior. This results in extremely accurate emulations of vintage hardware. It’s also the first virtual synth to use a modern circuit simulation technique, which models analog circuit behaviour with extreme accuracy. Did I mentioned already that this sounds very very good? Diva looks beautiful and perhaps pretty straightforward on the surface, but she can go very deep, and can be a little mysterious.. It’s really a musician’s synth, which means we want to adapt our mindset a bit when we come from a more ‘producer-like’ approach to sound design. That’s why I wanted to make this course, to teach you how to think about Diva and to show you how powerful this synth really is when we dive in. ‘Prog Rock Bundle’ for DIVA synth contains 300 vintage sounding presets focused on Progressive Rock genre and other analog sound based genres. Prog Rock Bundle for DIVA is a collection of 4 soundbanks for a total of 300 vintage sounding presets. It is a full package focused on Progressive Rock genre but it could also be used for Cinematic music as well as for Electronic productions especially those with dark sound character and those which rely on warm analog sounds. The first soundbank of this collection is a generic journey through the Golden Era of music. Prog Rock 2 is focused on two opposite sides of synth sounds with Huge and Soft synths. Prog Rock 3 is even more focused and dives into the early 70s soundcolors. Finally Prog Rock 4 contains organ sounds that fit with all the other Prog Rock packs and fills the blanks to create a multidimensional collection dedicated to the genre.

Modules can be mixed and matched so you can build hybrids, but what sets DIVA apart is the sheer authenticity of the analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators (e.g. PSpice) in realtime. The behaviour of zero-delay-feedback filters when pushed to the limit clearly demonstrates the advantages of this groundbreaking approach.
