MWT (Modern White Tape FX)

The MWT provides a remarkable simulation of true tape sound through the inclusion of genuine tape drive circuitry. This emulation circuit provides the nostalgic rounding and compression usually only achieved by the use of tape. This typically offsets the harshness often found in digital recordings. The unit has been enhanced in the DC and audio path with top grade audio components.

The APEq Collection is our new, revamped collection of Nebula presets – based on an EQ that played a major part in music recording history in the USA during the 60’s and 70’s.
After years of experience with that wonderful EQ and having developed a very successful and widely loved emulation of it, the “APE Channel”, we have decided to create a successor to this famous library that draws from the same great tone, but takes it to a new level of sonic richness. This is a mojo set sampling of a vintage RLand Vocoder. This is just the hardware sonic footprint without any effect. Use with a plugin to add a little analog flavour espacially on instruments requiring a bit of mid range help. ( WHAT IS A MOJO SET? A common complaint facing Nebula users is the GUI and the workflow which may require a number of steps that an algorithmic plugin simply avoids. For example, to get more than one band of equalisation in most cases you need multiple instances of the plugin and the bands don’t always interact like the hardware would. But the sound is stellar. You also have a limited level of dynamic levels with eqs in a lot of cases.
