Our new top of the line synthesizer, the LinPlug Spectral. 14 years of synthesizer building experience. Estimated release is Autumn 2013. If you are familiar with subtractive synthesis, you will feel right at home with the Spectral, because you can choose a waveform, choose a filter and go on. But Spectral delivers far more options than you would expect from the well sorted user interface. The unique audio engine under the hood is capable of delivering many sounds never heard before. preQursor offers  own uniquely designed filters with low resonance peaks for reduced ringing artifacts, great band separation, and narrow notching on negative gains. For example, the EQ interface lets you add a new EQ band by double-clicking, then you drag the control point to change frequency and height, right-click (shift-click on Mac) to change width. Right-clicking on a meter or display axis gives a popup menu of display ranges. Right-click a knob drag to get fine tune adjustment, double-click a knob to revert to default value. And so on.

Mastering Peak Limiter and Volume Maximizer

FinalPlug is a professional peak limiter/volume maximizer with extensive bit depth truncation and dither options, making it ideally suited for a final mix. Tame the peaks a bit, or really squeeze all the volume you can out of it. The FinalPlug interface could hardly be simpler. Select a desired output ceiling level, say -0.1 dB, and then adjust the threshold level. As you decrease the threshold you increase the volume.

LevelView is a highly innovative real time loudness meter. Its ‘Rainbow meter’, based upon the ‘Bendy Meter’ concept of BBC Research, gives the user continuous insight in recent loudness levels of the program material. The arces of the rainbow all have different integration times: the outer ring shows loudness of the last 3s, every step inward triples the time span. This technique has proven to offer a very convenient monitor view during a mix process.
