A high quality multisampled wooden marimba library. Includes multiple mallet types, hit variations and sophisticated velocity mapping. MalletPak One is a collection of 13 multisampled instruments. It was recorded in a reflective room with a pair of Shure KSM32s in an ORTF configuration to capture the wide stereo field of the instrument. Four different mallet types were used with multiple hits for round-robin triggering and several velocity layers each. A violin bow recorded for each marimba bar creates an eerily textured patch with infinite sustain. A hybrid patch combining mallet strikes with the bowed texture allows you to mix between articulations. The Logic, Kontakt and Ableton versions include a massive program that includes all 4 mallet types for easy switching during a performance or recording. Additionally, there are several synthetic patches using the marimba as sound source to create unique new musical tones.

Mysterium is a richly detailed collection of 7 multisampled instruments and 4 sound design menus inspired by 1950’s sci-fi cinema. It employs a musical sound programming method for easy production of creature feature or robot invasion soundtracks! Using several Theremins, a pile of basic electronics and some acoustic foley effects, Puremagnetik has created a spine-tingling array of haunted textures. The Laboratory sounds include synthesizers made from electrical interference and percussive effects extracted from archaic equipment. The Spacecraft sounds focus on sci-fi space creature sounds. The Theremin sounds were recorded using two vintage Maestro Theremins and a newer Moog Theremin. PM sound designers captured a plethora of classic Theremin gestural sounds from each – from spooky ghost singing to big pitch divebombs. The Wasp is a quirky little synthesizer that, despite its toyish look, is quite capable of funky analog sounds. It really is black and yellow too, just like the insect it is named for. Probably its most distinguishing feature is the keyboard and its non-moving touch-sensitive keys. That`s right, the flat little keys are only sensitive to your electro-static touch. It`s a nifty technology for 1978, but in reality they are difficult and unreliable to play. The WASP is powered by two digital oscillators supported by analog filters, envelopes and controls. This makes it one of the earliest digital/analog hybrid synthesizers to come in such a compact package, and it sounds great! The Wasp offers flexible and traditional synthesis of cool bass, synth, and other classic monophonic sounds.
